If you want to experience the finest dry fly fishing the Muskegon River has to offer, then a "Hatch Trip" is for you! These are very pleasant evening floats focused on dry fly fishing for Trophy Trout when the major insect hatches/spinner falls occur. I offer these trips from mid May through mid July and they begin at 6 pm. We are generally off the water by 10:30 pm. These trips DO NOT include an on-stream dinner, however, upon your request it can be included for an additional $35 (one or two anglers). Please make your dinner request when booking. These trips start off very relaxed, but usually climax into pure excitement as the mayflies and caddis hit the water surface causing giant resident brown trout to go into a feeding frenzy!

Cost for a Hatch Trip is $225 for one or two anglers. Please call or email to schedule your evening on the water. As with my full day trips, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required. All gear is included and waders aren't necessary as we will be fishing from the boat at all times. You will need a Michigan all species fishing license.
